This beautiful 12 arm chandelier was custom made by the Camer Glass Company in the 1950s to hang over a Williamsburg Federal table.  The Camer Glass Company was founded in the 1950's by George and Paul Camerino. They commissioned creations from the best artisans and factories in Murano Italy and produced very popular Venetian Glass Lamps in the late 50's, throughout the 1960's, ending in the early 1970's. This chandelier has 113 very unique hand-blown amber colored 'bauble' crystals, made in Murano.  Each crystal measures 3 inches tall and 1-1/4 inch in diameter. The chandelier itself is 26 inches high and 27-1/2 inches across, with an antique bronze finish. It has been stored away for over 20 years, as my mother had nowhere to hang it after moving to Florida. The Modern department of Rago Auction House (in N.J.) provided an auction estimate of $1200 to $1800. Note: The chandelier has the original cloth insulated wiring from the 50's.
