Description
A very rare antique folk art French masterpiece ! This decorative armillary sphere is all iron forged made ( very unusual !). Inside the sphere there is a little orrery that rotates with an external handle ( see the photos) . The orrery has the central sunball and the earth and moon spheres . An external iron band with the months ( in French) closes this beautiful sphere . The superficial rust has been removed by a delicate brass brushes . Age around 1880 years .
