The two pieces came out of an old saloon from the river town of New Albany, Indiana and the pieces match up extremely well. The saloon counter measures 9' 10 1/2" long, 34 3/4" tall and 33 3/4" wide on top. The opening in back measures 22 1/2" tall and it has 26 1/4" of clearance. The large back bar measures 7' 2 1/4" tall, 10' 9 3/4" long and 29" wide at it's widest part. The two pieces have been professionally refinished and are in great condition. The two pieces are mostly made of what looks to be hearth pine and they have a medium tone walnut stain with several coats of hand applied sealer. The center panels in the bottom doors appear to be oak. The counter has a solid bottom and a large storage area in the back. The top of the counter looks great and has a lot of old character marks. The back bar has six doors on top with old wavy glass. The top also has two shelves that run it's full length. The bottom of the back bar has six doors and one shelf that runs it's full length. There is also a nice design in the wood that really adds beauty to the piece. These two great pieces would be a very impressive addition to any home or place of business.
