This is a very large piece, reminding me of the size of some great altar cloths I've had. The detail is amazing. There are castles and schools depicted with bridges and walkways. The embroidery and pull thread work are highly skilled. This is a true rare collector's item of museum quality. You will never see another. This piece measures approx. 102 X 31 in. It is in excellent condition with one tiny prick point which I have photographed. This piece is from the late 1800's. It would make a wonderful sideboard piece, table cover, valance, runner, bed sham etc. Wherever you display this, it will be the center of attention. The piece is three dimensional with the flags flying from house and school being extra flaps of embroidered fabric, that flap from the cloth. I can't say enough.
