Description
WWII Presentation Model 22 Chronometer serial number 7189-1942. Plaques were removed to allow removal from ship's inventory. Presentation card is made from inventory control cards. This is the original chronometer placed in a gimbal mount by the crew in the original three tier box. A single winding lasts for up to 60 hours, though 48 are shown and normally the chronometer was/is wound at the same time every day for greatest accuracy. This chronometer works perfectly and has matching serial numbers on the bezel, case, workings and bottom cover. More photos are available on request. Buyer to pay actual package, insurance and shipping according to their choices in carrier and time in transport.
