Description
**Ive tried to add more pictures and can't - contact me for a full set. **I am trying to add more than the four pictures allowed inthe original listing process, if they don't appear (there should be about 12 in total), email me for more pictures or larger images. I'll need you to allow me to see your email in order to send the pics. ***For additional images, I managed to create a dummy listing in ebay France with many pics: see item 250285713774 (that itelm I shall end before this auction ends) , see the pics on ebay france but don't bid on that page, the sale is HERE, on this listing. *** Guaranteed original copy produced in the 1800's (no sadly this is NOT a 13the century copy...). Signed at the bottom "Sold by R E Pine, Albemarle Street, Picadilly". Marked at the top "This plate being a correct copy of King Johns Great Charter..." This belonged to my great grandmother and has been handed down throughout the decades. It was originally nailed onto a wooden frame. My sister took it off the frame about 15 years ago, much to my disappointment, and as you can see the rusty nail holes are visible on the edges (this probably adds to its character - but at least its easier to ship rolled up), the canvas is very dark, since it has decades of dust, smoke and whatever and is very dark. There's a large scratch (shown) - that does not go all the way through the canvas, so I wouldn't call it a tear. THere are also other scratches, visible in the photos. All in all, poor to average condition, but you probably don't see many of these real OLD copies around, and not one of those modern reproductions. Dimensions are: 20 inches wide x 28.5 inches high. Postage will be inside a tube in a sturdy box. Postage is $50.
