The colours are deep reds, greens and blues, not the more common orange tones. It has wonderful patterns, acanthus leaves, flowers, and the usual beautiful swirling motifs found on these shawls. It is very long, measuring 125" by 62" or 3.16m by 1.57m and weighs about 1.3kg.It is in good condition, it would benefit from very careful cleaning to brighten it up a bit, and it is faintly musty, but certainly not the horrid fusty smell sometimes found with such shawls. All it needs is a good air, and as previously mentioned, perhaps a careful wash.There are a few very small holes around the edges, and some thinning only noticeable when held up to the light.
