Description jersstep Store EXTRA LARGE AUTHENTIC ARTS & CRAFTS PERIOD PRINT BYMAXFIELD PARRISH TITLED, "RUBAIYAT"-CA 1917s!       DESCRIPTION:Being offered for sale is this very large authentic Arts and Crafts period print by Maxfield Parrish titled, "Rubaiyat" printed in ca 1917 in an exceptional beautiful extra wide frame. The outside measurements of the frame is 36" and wide 13 ½" tall. By having such a perfect designed frame it is heavier than other same image prints with a so-so frame. This one weighs 6 pounds. As seen in the photos the inside of the frame has an usual and a very appealing design. The gorgeous print is marked on both lower left and right corners. The left side reads, "Reinthal and Newman", "New York" and the lower right side starts with the copyright symbol and reads, "1917 C.A. Crane Cleveland". The C.A. Crane Company was a Candy store in Cleveland, Ohio that had the famous illustrator Maxfield Parrish! The condition of the print is near mint as I cannot tell if there is in any fading or color changes, because I have never seen one in person before. To me, the colors are bright and bold. Without taking the print out, it have no tears, foxing, signs of any mold, or other damage. The frame is also near mint with a few tiny minor flakes, which are hard to see unless looking for. They don't take anything from the appeal or desirability of this beautiful exotic Parrish print from the Arts & Crafts period. This exceptional and large gorgeously framed print would look good with home or office décor. Especially in one that is decorated in the Arts & Crafts or Mission Oak style. So if you have that style or are a collector or lover of the Arts & Crafts style, this print is for you!
