Illuminated Arabic Manuscript. Large, Illuminated Arabic Manuscript. KORAN. 92 leaves (184 pages); size: 20.4 x 38.8 cm; written surface: 12.9 x 22.4 cm; 15 lines to a page, in clear, large, and handsome naskhī script, in black ink on beige paper. The text is vocalized throughout. All verses are separated by red circle. All pages are ruled in several lines of black ink. There are two pages in the beginning, which are highly illuminated in yellow, brown, blue and other colors. All headings of Suras are written in red. Undated, but it was probably written at the beginning of the 19th century. The Koran lacks the beginning and the end. A few leaves with marginal repairs, and without loss of text. First leaf is remounted and repaired, no loss of text. Recently bound in cloth, in very good condition.
