Very neatly executed calligraphy, 15 lines per page. B. Size: 17 5/8" x 15 1/4" (45.4 x 38.8 cm.) II. Illuminated Islamic Bifolium 1. Description B. Beautifully executed calligraphy, ornate borders and heavily gilt. IDEAL FOR FRAMING. III. Illuminated Islamic Bifolium 1. Each page is highly illuminated. Individual lines of text are enclosed by inked scalloped frames. This area enclosing a line of text is referred to as a "cloud-band," and the area outside the cloud-band is filled by real gold gilt.
