Beautiful inlaid wood chess board with stylized wood (maple) chess pieces. The opposing forces are stained slightly darker. All of the pieces are in excellent condition. The board itself has some slight edge wear, but overall, fine condition. The board is 20" x 20" x 1" high. From the mid 1960's. As you can see by the auction listing and the price realized section at the bottom of our photo, the identical set was estimated at $1000 - $1500. It sold for $1800.
