This Aninimal was acquired  in the late 1970's from a reputable collector and its origins were represented to me as being carved in the late 1920's by famous Carousel Artist Luis Ortega, the pricipal student of Mucio Juarez. The animal is unrestored and has great rermnants of its original coloring. The Brass base and mounting pole were salvaged from original carousel parts. The animal measures approximately 46" long and 34" high. It stands approximately 5 feet off the groung at the head.   Place a Bid!
