They both are signed with the city name where they were made "Carlsbad" (second row - last picture). I believe this is a city in Austria where most fine porcelain were made back then. Though the pair shows some wear on the gilded part - there're no crack, hair line, chips, nor any repairs. These urns comprise of 4 different parts - the bottom part (square part), the neck (above the square part), the body and the lid. The first three parts are connected by bolt. They're beautifully decorated with hand painted picture depicting a neoclassical scene. The crusted gold adorned the surrounding of the picture. The pair also has pierced lid that indicates the pair might be used as potpourri in the living room or whatnot. Another wonderful part from this pair is that the fact they're decorated both front and back. The measurement of the pair is: 14.75" high, 5"square on the base, and 6.75" wide on the widest part (the handle). Please let me know if you have any further questions.
