Description
A TRUE CHARMER REPRESENTING THE ELEGANCE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP OF A LONG LOST PEOPLE OF THE AMERICAS This tripod footed Michoacan vessel dates from approximately 800BC and comes from Western Mexico and truly pleases the senses in its simplicity and beauty. It measures 4 1/4" in diameter and stands 2 1/2 " in height. It is fabricated of a highly burnished red clay abd deeply incised with parallel lines and six figures representing either antropomorphic or floral motifs and has two perforated handles balanced evenly on each side. One had a minor break which was completely and professionally restored. The pride and workmanship stands on its own. The price includes the new custom lucite base which displays it at its finest.
