Description WINNING BIDDER - PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE   PAYPAL GENERATED INVOICES ARE NOT ADDING INSURANCE - I WILL NOT SHIP WITHOUT INSURANCE   Alright, I am putting this clay figure on.  I think there are ways to date the clay; however, neither have I done so nor will I be doing it.  I have researched this for months and seem to get nowhere.  I am going to describe and add a picture.  I am hoping the ebay community can shed some light on this piece.  It looks like it could be Pre Cambrian, possibly Mayan, Incan; however, I know so little about primitive art that this is just my guess.   Whatever it is it is too interesting to keep in a cabinet! Because the couple is copulating and the figure is quite graphic I cannot put all the pictures on Ebay.  They are, however, available upon request.  Should you request pictures please send your email address. The figures are small, they are only 4 inches long and 2.75 inches back of head to back of head.It weighs 9 ounces. The clay is reddish and there are parts of it that have a red ochre pigment added, but the pigment has not been added to the whole figure. There is a lot of detailing in their hair, earrings, and bracelets.  The female is on the bottom and she has circles on her head that are pigmented.  The male has some kind of adornment around his neck that ends with the same circle on his back.   They each wear a bracelet on each wrist.  They have primitive fingers but they do not have toes.
