I am not sure how old the barrel is, maybe early 1900's? The barrel is in excellent condition for its age, it comes fresh out of the attic of an old store that closed years ago. The inside is very clean, just a bit dusty. The barrel stands 30" tall and has a 20" diameter. The paper label is marked "Ivory Soap Chips; 99.44/100% Pure; Proctor & Gamble; Made In U.S.A.".
