Smith Co' Description American Sheffield , these are made by Lawrence B. Smith Company Boston Massachuset later items had (Sheffield ) added and a cross design.   This must be their early hallmark .  They were made around 1887.   Lovely grape and vine motif.  They are 7 1/2" tall and 3" wide at the base.  Both are hallmarked with a crown in the middle a shield with profile on top and the crossed keys.  I will have two more pair of these coming up at auction in a medium size and a large size. All matching.  These are the smaller ones.  They were all from the same estate in Florida,  they were saying alot about a Mr. White from St. Petersburg.  Very fine items.  These have just a light bit of copper bleeding on the edges along panels and when filled with water one has a leak. Would need to use a liner if using.  Not completely cleaned.  Although they will clean up like sterling as you can see.  I just have no energy to clean silver.
