These books have been handed down in my family for generations. They belonged to my Great ,Great ,Great Grandfather - Dr. V.P. Kennedy Dr. Kennedy was born July 11th,1824 He was the FIRST Dr. in Meeker County, Mn. June 1856 He also served parts of the Dakota Territories, and in 1885 was elected to the Dakota Senate. Dr. Kennedy was an active member of the G.A.R and in 1887 was elected medical director of th Mn. department of the G.A.R. Official registry of physicians in Mn. from 1883 to 1890 Decorated Civil War surgeon Listed in the book "Medical Men of Meeker Co." Wilmot   Though it is heartbreaking to see these go, times dictate. These books are REMARKABLE -  in fine condition.
