It measures  3 ft. 7 1/2 in. tall x  5 ft. 3 in. wide and it is done on a canvas surface. The city and outlying areas are done in vivid detail and some of the structures pictured in the map remain until this day, 103 years later. These maps are considered very rare since they were often thrown away as obsolete and the ones that were kept were cut into small sections so that they could be stored. There is what looks like a filmy like haze over some areas of the map from cigarette smoke I would guess but it is a nice map and a delight to look at. There are some cloudy looking places in some of my pictures, but that is just reflections and you will love this map just the way it is. I have only seen 3-4 of these maps in my 50+ years living in Spokane and this is one of them. If you check the antiques roadshow site and look under Spokane, you will see one of these appraised at $5000.00 - $6000.00. I am not sure about that but I am starting this map out at the lowest price that I will accept for it so have a good look and thanks for stopping by to see it.
