The original fold down board writing service, brass T handle, and spindle carvings to the top of desk are missing. This rare P.T. Barnum used Wooton Patent Secretary/Desk has its original veneered small draws & slots, deep molded base w/long molded shoe feet on original casters. It measures 58" Height Depth 18" or 52 1/2" with legs Length 42 1/2" or 89 1/2" with doors extended open These rare signed patented secretary Desks range in sale in auctions from $ 15,000 to upwards of $ 100,000 Dollars and are only viewed in major musuems.
