Description
Hand crafted in Montana from already downed Aspen and Ash trees. Aspen is one of the most beautiful trees with lots of character. My beds are assembled with hand picked, hand peeled logs, and chosen for their unique look and appeal and are not built with machine milled logs. Each log and branch may have knots, wormholes, cracks, and color variations which help make the beds more rustic. The shape of the logs and branches dictate just how the pieces come together to form your one of a kind bed.  Deer antler sheds were added for even more character. The bed is smooth but with tool marks seen and felt, then lacquer finished. The pictures do not do justice. Head and foot constructed from 6" to 7" logs. Head is 70 tall", foot is 48" tall, 72" wide X 94" long. Queen size ( 60" X 80" ). Head and foot come assembled, frame partially. Glued mortise and tenon construction. All that is need for assembly is 3/4" socket and ratchet for 8" X 1/2" lag bolts. There is a matching '' bed bench '' { picture # 11 } for an additional $95.00 plus freight. Custom built one at a time by me. Compare, really compare. This bed is heavy and sturdy. It will last for generations to come. Crating and shipping to your home in the USA will be $500.00. Pictures #8,# 9, and #10 are beds that have previously sold.
