This a lovely substantial and perfect example of an emerald green English 4 sided bottle poison bottle. A great bottle in superb condition from the 1900s. It is a rare large full size bottle with a size of 6oz. This is a RARE example as the size is shown ON THE FRONT OF THE BOTTLE. Sizes are usually shown on the base of bottles. The bottle came from a collection over 100 years old from an old English Manor House collection. The bottle is made of beautiful deep emerald green glass. The ribbing was necessary to prevent people accidently swallowing the contents with dire results - A common occurance in Gas-lit Victorian England. The bottle is inscribed with the wording "Not To Be Taken" and dates from the 19th century and Victorian times. A superb addition to any collectors set and curio.
