We make this locally the way an american fine glass maker ( the Tiffanie Family ) did back in the 1840s. The Tiffanies created this way of making stained glass so they could make much more detailed and beautiful stained glass art panels or windows. We still use the Tiffanie copper foil method, we cut each piece by hand, and then wrappe the edge of the glass with copper so they can be soldered together and make a very strong bond. The modern Asian method is to cut out the glass ( which is not as good of quality of glass that we use in the west, and they dont use the Tiffanie copper foil method. Instead they use some kind of epoxy to hold everything together. If it is a lamp shade that was asian made, too high of a wattage light bulb will melt it and make it all fall apart from the heat. We are American made and we take pride in making our glass with the proven Tiffanie copper foil method. THIS STAINED GLASS  WINDOW IS HAND MADE AND IT IS 100% REAL STAINED GLASS - EACH PIECE INDIVIDUALLY CUT, FIT TOGETHER AND SOLDERED USING THE TIFFANY COPPER FOIL METHOD. THIS PANEL HAS HOOKS ATTACHED FOR HANGING AND CAN BE HUNG EITHER HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL.
