Outstanding quality solid silver samovar.   Marked under the base with the set of English sterling hallmarks for London, 1776 and maker mark W.T.  Also marked on the lid with same maker mark and sterling mark - the lion. Excellent original antique condition with some amount of normal wear - some very minor normal scratches,  a couple of minor dents.  Original ivory handles are solid with  minor normal age cracks - see  picture, nothing to worry about - I only have to mentioned it because this is an eBay sale. Inside parts of the faucet were replaced  with not silver parts - old repair, definitely was done more then 100 years ago. Ivory on the faucet is also replacement - probably was done at the same time. IVORY ON THE FAUCET IS AN ANTIQUE - PRE BAN - IVORY. Professional  repair - unnoticeable from outside, faucet is functional and holds water. NEEDS SOME MORE POLISHING - ALL DARK SPOTS YOU ARE SEEING IN THE PICTURES IS JUST A REFLECTION OR LIGHT TARNISHING. About 23 in. (58 4/10cm) tall with the lid, about 10 1/2 in.
