The desk has three faux black leather writing inserts and a central faux drawer above a large knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with original turned knobs. The piece stands on a plain plinth and the back is finished enabling the piece to be placed in the centre of a room. The desk splits into three sections for ease of removals, is a rich golden walnut colour with striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.   Height 102cms / 40inches Width 122cms / 48inches Depth 76cms / 30inches Ref 02248   Items of this age and quality are becoming very rare to find and they are not just a beautiful piece of furniture but also a very good investment.
