Threading exist on the ruffled or fluted section. The outer rim of the bowl has a clear crest, this rim glows green under UV which indicates the presence of uranium.  Diameter of the bowl is 10 1/4" with a height of 3 1/4".  Based on the pontil scar on the bottom and the threading, an English origin is highly suggestive, circa 1880's-early 1900's.  Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Residue does exist on the bottom of the bowl from where it was originally attached to a frame for a bride's basket.In the event, you want to match this bowl with a metal frame, the diameter of the base itself is 3 7/8" with a height of 3/8".
