The lower leg to leg measurement is 19". The upholstery is a muted pumpkin peach with small cream,gray,brown floral/wheat detail.  The edge binding is a more bright pumpkin/orange shade.  This is a pick up only item.  I am afraid it would be damaged in shipping.  It is really quite stable to sit on but I think it would be easily broken even if packed well.
