The serial number on the back says AK086960. The research I did says it was made around 1951. There is a medallion on the machine that reads "A Century of Sewing Service- The Singer Manfg. Co.-1851 to 1951". I checked out the machine and the foot pedal, the switch and the light all work. The machine seems like it runs fine also. The machine has some fine scratches and some paint chips. There is a tube of motor lubricant and a box of accesories. The case that it comes in needs some attention. The bottom needs reglued back on and the corner looks like a cat was knawling on the corner. Overall everything seems in good shape for its age. It just needs some TLC. I hope the pics tell it all.
