This medical stool is in Great Condition for its age and is in its original finish and upholstery.I believe the wood to be Maple but can't be sure.The legs have cast toe caps.The wood inside one was repaired but can't be seen. The stool measures 16" at its low point and 22" fully raised.The seat is 13" in diameter.The legs at the base are 18" from toe to toe. (across) The screw mechanism works like new stopping at its high point. On it are the original labels; One reading Hamilton Mfg Co. & model or serial # 9610 M6166 Two Rivers Wis.
