Vintage Singer Featherweight 211-1 Sewing Machine Start Price USD 71.00 Current Price USD 239.16 Time Left - Bid Count 14 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, June 28, 2008 End Time Saturday, July 05, 2008 Location New Bern, NC See more about 'Vintage Singer Featherweight 211-1 Sewing Machine' Description The front of the 56 page instruction booklet states, "Look for the Red "S" Ther are SINGER Shops in Every City."  Now we all know this is no longer true; but here is an original Singer portable sewing machine model 221-1 that includes the orginal instruction booklet with pictures, the original electric cord that plugs into the machine and into the wall, and the multiple attachments still in the box which all fits into the orginal Singer carrying case.  The carrying case has two keys.  The machine operates smoothly, the needle and bobbin move up and down, and the light works.  It appears to be in top condition with only minor scratches from actual use.  The gold trim is intact and overall shiny.  The instruction booklet is very detailed with pictures and explanations on every part of the machine.  It has all of the Singer logos and the bottom is stamped AK615499.  If you would like additional pictures send me an email.  My camera does not show the sewing machines fine details as well as they actually look.  The carrying case is worn with slight discoloration and it and the instruction manual has a slightly musty smell.
